Unfortunately Dan is leaving the band to focus on his family and other priorities. Our good friend (and Jon's cousin) Patrick Lamond will be joining the band in his absence. Dan will complete the new record and perform its CD release party once its complete.
The future for the jbb will be a super busy one with new management and a further reach regionally for performances.
This change is 100% mutual and everyone is excited about the new horizons that lay ahead. Please everyone welcome Patrick with the great support you've had with Dan...its been an extremely fulfilling experience thus far and we hope that continues.

The JBB is booked to play the Wells Fargo Main Stage at Artscape 2011!
We will be sharing the stage with some amazing acts:
Fantasia, G Love, Matisyahu,Miguel, The 8 Ohms Band, Carolyn Malachi, Nikka Costa, Southern Culture on the Skids, the Players, Can't Hang and the Pietasters.
Our set will be on Sunday July 17th on the Wells Fargo main stage between Cathedral Street and Mount Royal Avenue.

Friday June 10th - Recher Theater with Freedom Enterprise and Burnworthy, details will be posted shortly.

We have been working on new material for the last couple months and the new record is starting to take shape. We hope to begin recording sometime in the fall, but for now pre-production at our practice spot has been coming along great. We have 13 songs written and recorded so far with no signs of that process slowing down anytime soon. We will be posting small snippets of the new material every once and while from here on out, we encourage you to provide feedback because we want you to love this new record as much as we already are!
